Simply Love God

And I applied my heart to know wisdom and to know madness and folly. I perceived that this also is but a striving after wind.

Ecclesiastes 1:17

Now officially considered a senior, I find myself looking back at my life and wondering why I spent so much time [striving, pursuing, grasping, chasing after, searching] for something that is fleeting, transient and elusive. I don’t think I was at a spiritual place where I understood that I would never be able to figure it out. By myself it was never meant to make sense, but with God’s help I can get up each morning with purpose and desire to serve Him.
