Joy In Being Led

The Lord gave the 10 Commandments as guidelines for His people to live peaceful and happy lives. There are stories throughout the Bible that contrast what happens when people live by the Law or go their own way.

Lead me in the path of Your commandments, for I delight in them.

Psalm 119:35

To Lead means to guide on a way by often going ahead of, setting a direction or course. Sometimes it can be comforting to be led by someone who knows the direction, anticipates and works through any dangerous or complicated issues that arise.

Our Sovereign Lord knows all of the circumstances surrounding our lives and wants to help us navigate through them by trusting Him. If we just follow Him in faith, He will lead us through each day in our life so we have no reason to fear or worry about tomorrow. Instead we will experience JOY!
