God of Love & Peace
A time to love, and a time to hate, a time for war and a time for peace [shalom].
Ecclesiastes 3:8
This last pairing is beautiful in the way it bookends, or surrounds, the opposites at the beginning and end with LOVE & PEACE.
- Of course, “a time to love” always causes me to think of my marriage to Cal. I am thankful to the God of Love for bringing him into my life.
- I am also thankful for a peaceful heart. Yahweh Shalom – the Lord is Peace. It is comforting to know that He surrounds us with His love and care.
