Desire Of My Heart

Behold, I have a longing for Your precepts; revive me in Your righteousness.

Psalm 119:40

As I read God’s Word, He increases my desire (longing) for more. His WORD is living – thoughts from God Himself – preserved for all of history – for you – for me. Never changing, yet changing me, sanctifying me, filling me with joy and peace. I read it to gain wisdom for living this life on earth and to know more about God.

Heavenly Father, keep my heart forever close to You. Keep me from sin, strengthen and revive me each day to live for You. Thank You for doing what I cannot do for myself – gifts of salvation (HOPE), love, peace and joy.
