LIVING A creative life
As a child, my hands were always busy creating and my heart always dreaming of color and fabric. Fabric & quilt shops were favorite places to hang out and sewing & quilting were favorite pastimes. Making, giving and selling unique handmade creations was a way of life. No matter where I worked, I couldn’t wait to come home and do what I loved!
Many years later I landed a fun and creative job as a product developer with a quilt company. Creating digital quilts and other projects became a daily playground for my heart and mind. I also realized that I wanted more than anything to create my own fabric designs. It’s never too late to chase after our dreams, so that’s what I’ve been doing recently. My heart has finally found its home in creating my own fabric collections! One day I hope to see them made into your projects!
Vintage – Original design and quilting
always creating
Quilting and sewing were my favorite hobbies growing up. I was curious about the arts of sewing, decorating, writing music and poetry at a very early age. I saw my world through eyes focused on color, fabric, texture and design.
My world changed forever once I discovered the art of quilting. The ability to create my own color stories, designs and projects was so compelling it was all I wanted to do outside of my 8-5 work.

always inspired
Especially by nature
. . . this photo taken in my woods was so interesting! I ‘m still not sure what it is, but the colors alone provide a wonderful earthy palette of cream, gray and brown. The radiating circular patterns are great design inspiration for flower shapes and texture is everywhere!
. . . by comparison, the flowers in this next photo are so bright and vivid! What a fun color palette!
I can’t imagine ever running out of new design and color combinations with nature as my playground!
